Dear HCSM,
I would appreciate it if you all would add the full information of the list of items in the agenda on your e-mail so that many of us would not have to keep clicking various buttons to read exactly one section. This is especially terrible for the many of us who have slow computers so if you would all please add everything on your e-mail so I don’t have to keep clicking to your website to read more, that would be appreciative. Thank you.

Hi Aneshoma,

The entire digest is actually all in one page (this one), so it shouldn’t be a problem for slower computers or computers on a slower connection. What you might be referring to would be the links to the other pages, such as the position descriptions and the candidate platforms. These are actually fairly lengthy and would make the digest hard to read if it were to be put in the digest email. We provide those information here on the website for easier viewing and browsing. However, I’m assuming that you are referring to these other pages. If I am mistaken, I’m sorry, and would appreciate it if you could clarify what pieces of information you would like us to include in the email digests to make it better.

Thank you,

Dang Vang
HCSM Webmaster

3. Kannone Vang - April 27, 2006

I agree with Aneshoma. I was a little disappointed that I had to come to the website (not that I don’t anyway) to read the degest. It was inconvienent because of the fact that when I see a digest sent to me, I want to read it right away. I, along with many other students are busy and do not necessarly have the time to click onto a link to read the rest of the digest. Sometimes students may see something that they are interested in and when they scroll down, its not there. If the digest is too lengthy, maybe attaching it as a PDF file or somthing. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, great job on the website!

4. Dang - April 27, 2006

Kannone,

Thank you for your input. We shall keep this in mind the next time digests are sent out. It’s certainly not a problem to include the digests in their entirety in our digest emails.
